Bandra Worli Sea Link
Linking roads and seas:
A drive on this bridge can fix all your worries!
The "Bandra Worli Sea Link“ is one of the most iconic infrastructures built in Mumbai. Over 5.6 km long with a 4-lane twin carriageway built with diamond shaped pylon towers in the middle. On one side you get to see the Worli village and on the other the vast Arabian sea.
This iconic Sea link not just serves views but has also made the commuting efficient for the locals. It runs like a lifeline among the Mumbaikars for how fast it connects people from Bandra to Worli.
It's 120 concrete pillars built with UltraTech is what makes this bridge stand tall and mighty that can hold up to 128 metres of concrete pylon towers that beautify the bridge.
This project has single-handedly expanded the realm of infrastructural possibilities in India. It is possibly the most ambitious infrastructure project in the country, powered by UltraTech. The quality of cement had to be superlative as the pillars would have to withstand the fury of the ocean's waves. Therefore, the choice, not surprisingly was 'UltraTech Cement'.
With Mumbai comes the image of the Sea Link and without, it all would be incomplete!
